Blood Taunt is one of my favorites. A unit within 12” of the Hero must move 2D6” toward the unit but stay 3” away. Basically it’s the old Devolve spell from the Bray Shaman, but as an action that can’t fail. This is good tech to pull units off an objective or bring them close so you can gang up on them, possibly pulling them out of command or aura range. These dudes are blenders. Fast moving, 4+ save with four wounds, They shut down enemy commands in the combat phase and if you’re going second, you add one to wound rolls. Again, I love these models, so they’re an include for me. They’re mostly self-sufficient now too, they don’t want a shaman near them helping them out. I’m pretty much always going to be taking 3-6 of them. Beasts of Chaos Tzaangors In battle, Tzaangors will often form a fighting formation, known as a Tzaangor warherd. Led by an Exalted Sorcerer, when this formidable bestial formation charges into battle, the air fills with a cawing, hooting cacophony. Cantrips spark from gnarled talons and weapons are discharged through sheer exuberance. The Doombull’s Command Ability goes from being a +1 to Wound for another unit to allowing another unit to charge in the Command Phase. This allows you to charge without being subject to Unleash Hell, and also gives you an extra chance to make a long charge. The doombull predictably goes up in points more than 35%, so honestly I’m not sure how much we’re going to see them on the board. I’m just not sure if they’re going to match the utility we see from other leaders. Dragon Ogor Shaggoth

We don’t like birds: Curseling, Fatemaster, Kairic Acolyte with Vulcarch, and 5 Acolyte with Paired Cursed Blades for an almost entirely human warband. Also, depending on whether you started with Daemons or Mortals, try mixing it up by adding a bit of the other, or swapping lists entirely. It allows a different playstyle which keeps the army interesting. After all, Tzeentch approves of those who don’t settle and are constantly aspiring for new ways to change up their life, shouldn’t you follow suit?While points for all BOC heroes have gone up, I do think these Rituals might make BOC generals think about taking more heroes overall so they can take advantage of them. While mostly points went down, to compensate the previous update upwards, the magical range increased as well from 3-10″ to 3-15″ while few Leader wounds decreased as well. Every abomination is a creation of Tzeentch. Every twisted monstrosity a child of the Changer of Ways. If I could, I would devour the thoughts of them all, that I too might know the horror of their existence. But for me there is a different fate." Realistically finding it is a bit more difficult. A more viable option is the Aether War box, if you can find a friend to split with it, it shares the box with Kharadron Overlords so if you can find a friend to split the cost it will give you some solid units to get started. In the box you’ll find 6 Tzaangor Skyfire/Enlightened (I recommend building them all as enlightened with spears), 3 screamers of Tzeentch and a Magister of Tzeentch on a disc. This box is a little more unfocused and doesn’t give you what you need to play a matched play game. So if you buy this I would still buy yourself some Tzaangors and/or Kairic acolytes to fulfill your battleline combination. A Tzaangor Shaman or Fatemaster would round out the list with another Hero to be the Magister’s friend in crime.Apart from this, the Magisters don’t have their own special ability. The one on Disc of Tzeentch can fly and move 10″, has 25 Wounds and Toughness 4.

Warptongue Blade (Triple, both Gaunt Summoners): A chance to do some damage depending on the value of the ability and dice roll on an engaged enemy. In melee they differentiate a bit, with the Adept hitting at 2” range for 4 damage on critical hit. The Acolyte with Cursed Glaive has same melee weapon profile as the Adept. Bestigors have two wounds – They’ve always been great, and now they’re even better. They hit harder and respond to your enemy’s use of Command Abilities near them. They did go up in points but in this Goat’s opinion it’s all worth it. They match nicely with a Beastlord nearby for extra shenanigans. I’m not sure that Lumineth needed another foot caster for their army. The Leader slot is getting pretty crowded and the Enlightener’s direct competitor is the Loreseeker who can drop right in front of the enemy and cast Lambent Light right in their face. It’s not a bad hero, but faces a lot of competition. Vanari Auralan SentinelsTzaangor Enlightened, creatures that possess an arrogance matched only by their extraordinary perception. These beings have the uncanny ability to discern the lessons of the past with the same clarity as mortals see daylight. What sets them apart is their audacious choice to soar into battle astride the enigmatic and razor-sharp constructs known as Discs of Tzeentch. As they engage their enemies, they take delight in unsettling their foes by resounding their most haunting failures and sins, all while delivering devastating strikes with their gilded spears. A good intro on Warhammer TV explains how to paint the Eyes of the Nine, a Warhammer Underworld warband, ideal for inspiration. The Eyes of the Nine Blue Horror is actually a Tzeentch Daemon and has access to a revised Split Again ability that allows it to be replaced by a Brimstone Horror. Note that, contrary to the Tzeentch Demons, the Brimstone Horror cannot be added to the warband directly, hence its cost of 0 points. They have both the same profile as their daemonic counterpart. Abilities for the Tzeentch Arcanites Warcry Warband Other Enlightened wield Fatecaster Greatbows, strung with ectoplasmic cords that send ensorcelled arrows on deadly paths. Lastly, some carry Chainswords and Autopistols used in their past lives as human Heretics, for these were the tools by which they first achieved glory before Tzeentch.

Curseling, Eye of Tzeentch new box will be soon available after releasing in the Arcane Cataclysm set Play BoC if you love goats, you’re an anarchist, or you’re just a fan of the beastman fantasy archetype. They have always been able to ambush people – jumping out of the forest and surprising your enemy – but this new Battletome allows you to do that with your entire army . However, you have to rush to activate before your target or you will not be able to use the ability. In melee it has the same considerations as Guided by the Past where Uttered Words can statistically do more damage on a lower ability score. Both summoners have access to Warptongue Blade, that for a Triple allows to roll as many dice as the value of the ability and on 2-5 allocate 1 damage to an engaged enemy, 3 if you roll a 6. Statistically you have good chances to do some damage even on a low Triple. Constantly aware of the flow of causality, Enlightened can see where and when their strikes will cause the most damage. The divining spears some carry are tuned to predetermined victims, emitting humming reverberations that grow louder as they near their targets. Overall this unit sees a slight buff. You will sometimes see one unit to guard an important hero, and it’s hard to imagine they’ll see any more use though in competitive lists but with the addition of Shining Company and able to be Battleline they may see an increase in popularity.
