About this deal
Would be interesting if in the future we see an expansion “Wingspan: Endangered and Extinct” with a wildlife preservation module, which could be made into a cooperative play mechanic. The good news is that the Wingspan card you created isn’t a Farms Race component; it is, as you’ve mentioned, a Wingspan card. Play American Oystercatcher, placing your Duet Token on the space for a Wetland bird with a beak pointing right, then netting three cards from a five point bird that only costs two food.
I’m looking to purchase the swift start cards as I acquired the base game prior to the release of the additional cards. When you have enough food on the baby it grows up, which means you replace it with the card of the grown up bird (the card need to be separate from the deck of the regular birds). The text necessary to read in Wingspan is in black font, and we’ll continue to try to make it as big as possible. This is why I feel that the red and black arrow spaces tend to be more valuable in the early game than the pink, blue, and orange arrow spaces.
We’ve noticed that a number of cards in the original game and from expansion packs have two diagonally opposite corner tips coloured grey. Just as I wouldn’t publish a Farms Race card without permission, Farms Race should not publish a Wingspan card. For birds on the box, I’m open to various positions, though I always aim for birds with their wings spread (showing off their wingspan). We don’t use Kickstarter (we don’t want you to loan us money for a product that won’t arrive at your door for 8-12 months; rather, we make products we’re excited to share with you, and we only sell those products to you after we’ve made them), nor do we ever sell all-in products, as we can serve newcomers to Wingspan best by letting them pick and choose what they want and not make them feel like they should wait for some combined version of the product later, and we serve existing Wingspan fans by not compiling a bunch of stuff they already have into one box (especially if we include something new that they feel they’re missing out on). Cela dit, suite à une partie à 4 joueurs, nous avons remarqué que les 75 œufs fournis dans le kit de départ n’étaient clairement pas suffisant.
Goes this also for the white powers „when played: put this bird on the board so that it lays on two fields” (blackbird, long-tailed tit, European roller, grey heron). If 3 players had tied for first place, they would split the points for first, second and third place.
For the AAAA, you take all that are worth 2 or 3, give Automa up to two cards (lowest valued first), and discard the rest. More often than not, your early game benefits the most from establishing strong food gaining from your Forest and strong card drawing from your Wetlands. They seemed like the same game…what is the difference between “wingspan board game” and wingspan with swift start pack? If you were just to play with with “no nectar on the dice”, the only way to play a Rainbow Lorikeet would be trading 2 food to pay for the one impossible to get nectar. Play Ruddy Duck, placing your Duet Token on either the space for a Wetland bird with a platform nest or with a beak pointing to the right.
