About this deal

I appreciate the elaborate detail, but when it comes to thrillers I prefer that they don’t indulge in certain story arcs for longer than they need to.

My dearest self with malice aforethought stands out with its captivating storyline, much like any good crime narrative. The protagonist ends up giving a speech, the details of which I’ve forgotten (he said that torturing a random guy was beneath him, or something). Overall great character writing, every character has an appropriate amount of screentime and well written backstories. At first several chapters it seems to be just a light atmosphere and cheerful one but by the next it's goes complete psychological and mystery.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. much on the insanity of their characters and lose sight of what makes this whole genre so damn interesting in the first place, the tactics with which these characters interact with each other. Overall, it's really hard to give this story review without spoiling anything, but it's definitely top tier. It's really amazing how it affects the story and thanks for Shota Ito by drawing in this way or maybe that's just how he draw. His audience, a bunch of hardened criminals who idolize a serial killer, just go along with his excuse, and even end up freeing that man.I legitimately think this is one of the most underrated mangas of all time, I won't understand anyone giving this manga a score lower than 9. Soon enough we find out that she has a personal connection with one of the victims of the serial killer.

One day, Eiji wakes up with no memory of the past few days, with a new girlfriend, newfound respect from the college bully, a bag of cash and a bloodied and broken bat secretly stashed away in his room, and the news of a murder that is very similar to the LL Serial Killings. Not that it has a surprising ending what you cannot easily guess, if you've read a few similar stories. A woman gets murdered in what seems like a copycat case of the serial killer’s modus operandi, and the protagonist finds himself in possession of that woman’s cut-off ear. Can’t stress it enough… If you’re intro suspense and psychological thrillers, this manga is a must read.

The art perfectly synced in the story and you can feel the art giving awesome mood in certain events. If you didn't read thrillers with split personalities you may find it interesting, but this one follows the standard script step by step. They are definitely written interestingly, but I usually enjoy stories where you delve into people end get to know them better.

To his surprise, when Eiji wakes up, a gorgeous girl from his university, Kyouka Yukimura, is lying beside him—claiming to be his girlfriend. As for pacing, you never know what's coming next or who did what, and each chapter flows perfectly into one another so you're never bored and you're always left on a cliffhanger.

Amazing character writing, everyone has a connection whether it be a good or bad one, they're written well.
