So far what I have made has been tasty and filling (lot of corgettes), but personally I find some of the recipes not complicated but fiddly, too many ingredients in some, but this is maybe because I am trying the recipes for the first time so I’m continually checking the page to see if I am doing it right, which with the one layer lasagne I obviously didn’t because the amount of liquid in the dish I had left in the dish, no no no no I definitely didn’t get that right no idea courgettes dripped out water. I'm going to enjoy making many of these recipes for the whole family without telling them they are low calorie meals, that way i can try and discretely stay on a diet but without having to prepare two different meals at each sitting. A lovely jolly down to earth approach from a man i knew little about, but who is a wonderful advert for his recipes and book.As Tom says: `It's impossible to stick to a diet if the food you're expected to eat is boring and doesn't fill you up. I have certainly been guilty of snacking between meals until I started cooking Tom's Meals from this book. However I did find the vast majority of them in my local supermarket in areas on aisles I've never really visited before.

The focus is on the food that we can and should be eating to lose weight, which is easy to make and won't make you feel as though you are missing out . So I've developed lots of tasty and satisfying recipes that people will love to cook and eat , but that will also help them lose weight . I've skimmed the kindle version i bought for a quick overview and like this very sensible approach to trying to lose weight but without sacrificing flavour, and still having a reasonable size portion.
