It is one of the rare rosé champagnes to be made using the maceration (skin contact) technique, which gives it the extraordinary depth and freshness that has made it the benchmark for rosé champagne around the world.

The nose is fresh and refined, with a broad range of berry fruit – raspberries, redcurrants, strawberries and black cherries. It was introduced by Bernard de Nonancourt in 1968 at a time when rosé champagne was largely non existent. Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water.Under de Nonancourt, Laurent-Perrier were the first House to use stainless-steel vats and the first House to create both a zero dosage champagne (Ultra Brut) and a multi-vintage prestige cuvée (Grand Siècle). Pairing beautifully with Asian-flavoured fish, delicately spiced meats, creamy cheeses or red fruit desserts.

Eugénie Hortense Laurent, her daughter, inherited the House in 1925 and sold it to Marie-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt in 1939. The Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier is a delicious aperitif and, thanks to its aromatic character, it also allows various food and wine pairings. Its bubbles are insistent, finely carved and add to the early sensations of lightness and energy yet also carry the wine long into a balanced, refined finish. Cuvée Rosé is 100% Pinot Noir blended from ten different Crus located mainly in the South and North areas of the Montagne de Reims including the finest Crus from the famous Côte de Bouzy Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Tours sur Marne.

His son, Alphonse Pierlot, succeeded him and, not having any heirs, he subsequently bequeathed the House to his cellar master, Eugene Laurent. Revered by wine-lovers for its flavour, and by aesthetes for the beauty of its 17th century-style bottle dating back to Henry V, the cuvée Rosé Brut is one of the stars in the Laurent-Perrier range. A fresh nose with a palette of red fruit aromas like raspberry, redcurrant, strawberry, and black cherry. Using the highest quality Pinot Noir grapes, this iconic rosé is one of the few rosé champagnes that is made by drawing the juice from black grapes in the vat, instead of blending red and white wines.
