About this deal

Sure, it wasn’t a bad lens, but once I sunk deeper into photography, I made the shift to a prime lens: the Nikon 50mm 1. Without the built-in profile, vignetting is still well controlled except at f2 where it is most apparent on the left and right edges. It is extremely well suited for smaller Fujifilm X Series cameras such as the Fujifilm X-T30, Fujifilm X-E4, X-T200, or Fujifilm X-S10. It feels very solid but not quite premium, and like I said above it also comes with an anodized lens hood.

If you are looking for a quality prime lens to add to your camera bag, this is one you shouldn’t overlook. While it’s not really going to give you a real up-close view of anything, nor a very wide view, I consider the 50mm to be sort of an everyday lens and it is especially nice for someone that also shoots a lot of portraits, friends or family but more importantly, it’s a great lens to travel and landscape. Of course each lens must be used on its own brand of cameras; the Fuji won't work on LEICA, and even with an adapter the LEICA lenses become quite primitive on Fuji.I am late to the party but let me just say that your compositions are inspirational and your writing is so enjoyable. Even Sony's much more expensive made-in-Thailand Zeiss lenses are merely thin metal vanity shells over plastic, and nowhere near as well made as this Fujinon lens. X-T1 + XF 35mm F2 WR is now in hand, the sun is up and I’m hitting the streets for the first time in a long time. As with the other accessory hoods Fujifilm has made available, the folks at Vello have undercut them by no small margin. Some won’t find this a bad thing at all but maybe I shouldn’t have bought this lens alongside the stellar 16mm f/1.

I m planning to make picture of product, cosmetic, homeware, so I need sharp good quality picture so can post mu review on it. Fuji’s first 50mm equivalent was already nice and small, but the XF 35mm F2 WR is wonderfully compact, even with the accessory hood attached. The superior performance from the new lens across much of the frame comes as no surprise if you examine the MTF charts for each, and see the XF 35mm f2 simply has a better profile for resolution.bigger or camera-original © file to explore on your computer; mobile devices rarely display full resolution images at full resolution. The exterior of the lens is weather and dust-resistant and can work in temperatures as low as -10°C. For example, the also erroneous statements that we all, regardless of size or physical activity, need to drink eight glasses of water a day. The 35mm is probably he kind of lens that might end up glued to your camera because it’s easy to pick up and go.
