About this deal

Sleek is a thicker cream texture and Cargo is quite liquid until massaged in, when it becomes creamy (see above). I just love these two products and I've been reaching for them every day since I purchased them, they have definitely become staples in my makeup bag. You can watch Lisa Eldridge apply it on Sophie Dahl in this video - the one that piqued my initial interest. And because of this very runny texture, it is best to be applied with fingers because foundation brush or beauty blender will absorbs too much products. Getting a perfect complexion is as easy as 1-2-3… with Bourjois 123 Perfect Colour Correcting Cream.

Other than that, Aluminum Hydroxide also often shows up in composite pigment technologies where it is used the other way around (as the base material and not as the coating material) and helps to achieve higher color coverage with less pigment. It’s a common fragrance ingredient that is one of the “EU 26 fragrances” that has to be labelled separately (and cannot be simply included in the term “fragrance/perfume” on the label) because of allergen potential. Not only does this cream help you on hiding any imperfections in your skin, it also claims to add a 'luminous completion and smooth skin' which all in all sounds like a pretty incredible product. Btw, chlorine in swimming pool water depletes this protective coating, so one more reason to reapply your sunscreen after a dip in the pool on holiday. I love how it doesn’t mask the skin, it really does blend INTO the skin like a cream does and it is SOOO quick to apply. An organic derivative of hectorite clay, Disteardimonium Hectorite is used as a viscosity controller - it thickens up formulations to make them less runny.

Apply Bourjois' 123 Perfect Colour Correcting cream onto the centre of your face and blend outwards towards the jawline.Something that sort of melts into one's skin and disguises some slightly larger pores would be great. It’s often used together with ethylhexylglycerin as it nicely improves the preservative activity of phenoxyethanol.

Like I mentioned I really wasn't expecting this cream to do much, when it comes to foundation I'm a full coverage heavy duty kind of girl. And last but not least, when salt is right at the first spot of the ingredient list (and is not dissolved), the product is usually a body scrub where salt is the physical exfoliating agent. The reason for this is that salt acts as a fantastic thickener in cleansing formulas created with ionic cleansing agents (aka surfactants) such as Sodium Laureth Sulfate. On my combination acne prone skin performs quite well, I don’t get oily – and I didn’t experience break outs – but it doesn’t last from morning to evening, so I need a touch up in the middle of the day. Just when we thought the CC cream pandemonium was over, Bourjois bring out a stonkingly good version of their own.It is a polymer (created from repeating subunits) molecule and has different molecular weight and thus different viscosity versions from water-light to thick liquid.
